The Stohlquist Edge Personal Flotation Device is a Type 3 life jacket with a well thought out design, quality workmanship and materials. It has a great range of motion for arms and torso, and it is comfortable for extended periods of time. It is perfect for use on a lake and good for day sailing, but it is not recommended for rough waters. It has a waist strap that sits below the ribs for optimal fitting, and the PFD sits low giving a clean front with no bulging pockets or flaps. While the pockets are not waterproof, they are nonetheless handy for storing necessary items. In terms of sizing, it is highly recommended that the buyer selects the appropriate size for maximum comfort.
