The Extech TH10 Temperature USB Datalogger is a low-cost USB solution for time and temperature tracking. This device works well for monitoring temperature and humidity, and the data appears to be good. However, the software provided is clunky and only compatible with PC. Additionally, it is difficult to train people to watch the subtle light indicators to confirm the logger is "on". Once it is on, the only way to turn it off is to connect it to the computer and use the software. This device seems to be not waterproof, so it would not be suitable for use in areas where it is exposed to normal or usual watering.
