Fans of horse racing and inspirational sports stories find themselves drawn to the film, which chronicles the life of the legendary racehorse while intertwining the journey of his owner, Penny Chenery. Many viewers express deep emotional connections to the movie, particularly those nostalgic for Secretariat’s racing triumphs, notably the iconic Belmont Stakes of 1973.
