This product is a 4 oz bag of dried Wormwood, scientifically named Artemisia absinthium. It is mostly used for detoxing the liver and has a natural calming effect when drank like tea, and can induce mild stoned/calm feeling when smoked. It contains a slight form of natural caffeine but is otherwise straight dried herb. Though there was some disagreement about whether wormwood and mugwort are the same, it is established that they are not; Mugwort refers to all 200 aromatic plants found in the Artemisia genus; Wormwood is just one of them. Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) is the only variation of Artemisia that can be used to distill authentic absinthe. It is mostly used for making tea and smoking.
