The 8Bitdo Arcade Stick for Switch & Windows is a decent budget arcade stick that comes with a wireless connection option, ideal for beginners to arcade sticks. It may require modification, such as replacing the buttons and joystick, but there are plenty of online tutorials available. The screw holes are deep, so specific tools may be needed for access. The stock buttons are not in the same position as Sanwa buttons, so repositioning may be necessary. The wiring may need reorganisation, but the PCB board is labelled for ease of use. A 5-pin cable is required to replace the joystick, and sanwa snap-in buttons are the only compatible ones available. Some users found the controller heavy enough, but others thought it was too light. The controller design was well-liked but the Switch compatibility was less convenient, requiring the use of the pro controller to turn on the system initially. There is no capture button. Overall the product is durable and functional but may require some tweaking to realise its full potential.
