The Exo-Terra Coco Husk is advertised as a natural and sustainable substrate for reptile enclosures. However, there have been some reports of mold and bugs after using this product. One customer found white specs of mold a few days after hydrating it and placing it in their enclosure, and later discovered tiny bugs in the mold. Another customer received only one brick of the advertised 3-pack. On a positive note, other customers found the product to be exactly as described and shipping to be fast with Amazon.
