It is not a smart device and does not send alerts through email or text messages. The monitoring device can run off of 12 or 24 VDC -or- 12 or 24 VAC, and has power input, sensor input, normally open output contact, and normally closed output contact. The device works best when installed in basements, around a water heater, or with an alarm system.
