The Miracle Mighty Pump is a small device that allows you to siphon water from a higher level to a lower level. It is not meant for large jobs such as emptying an entire pool or spa. It works best with larger diameter hoses and longer hose lengths on the discharge end to prevent suction loss. While it can fill a 5 gallon water bag from a lake, it is not recommended for pumping water out of small tools. The pump will start a siphon with a garden hose running downhill, but a hose hooked to a spigot is needed to start the suction action. It is easy to use and requires minimal priming or starting with the faucet. The flow (siphoning) will continue even after the water supply is turned off, as long as the drain hose outlet is below the water level.
