Action & Adventure Editorial Review
**** "Driven" features the iconic Sylvester Stallone and showcases a blend of racing action with personal drama, making it an enjoyably lighthearted film rather than a serious motorsport documentary. Viewers have predominantly found the film entertaining, emphasizing its escapist value over the adherence to realism. Many are drawn to Stallone's performance, along with highlights from Burt Reynolds, especially a memorable garage scene that delivers both tension and humor. While some critics point out that the film might not set new cinematic standards and occasionally mirrors plot elements from other racing films like "Days of Thunder," the light-hearted and entertaining approach resonates well with audiences. The movie allows its viewers to indulge in the thrill of high-speed car racing intertwined with romantic subplots, pleasing fans of the genre. Furthermore, the DVD quality is well-received, with clear visuals and an engaging presentation that enriches the viewing experience. In essence, "Driven" captures the charm of classic 90s sports films, making it a solid pick for those seeking an easygoing watch filled with action and nostalgic performances. **
